Mirte van Balen

Hellooo, nu name is Mirte and I am chairwoman of the LustrumCie. I am in my first year of my masters biology and I am currently in my internship at Vroege Vogels. I didn't know much about birds yet, but know I can distinguish between a pigeon and a coal tit. Usually I am a happy person and I love rainbows and unicorns (and beer). My favorite color is so glitter, cause ad you know: you wanna be fitter? Everybody gets happy from glitter!

Dominique Kemps

Hello fellow biologist, I’m Dominique, secretary of the Lustrumcie. I’m a 4th year biologist, 22 years old and I like Wageningen so much that I will stick around for another while! I’m not an ecologists, instead I focus on genetics and genetic manipulations in microorganisms. In my leisure, I like to be outside to go for a walk or to practice my longboarding skills. Otherwise, you can find me in the gym or in the swimming pool of the Bongerd (especially for the fun waterslide!). The spare time left is quickly filled with cozy evenings with roommates, my extra study as Personal Trainer and besides I take good care of my many room plants and my tree. Hope to see you soon!

Hedwig van de Kamp

My name is Hedwig and I’m the treasurer of the LustrumCie 2022! I am a fifth-year student in biology, and in the second year of my master. I joined the LustrumCie because I enjoyed the bits I saw from the previous Lustrum and because I want to give you all a lustrum worthy of the title. I live in Wageningen with my Gecko Guac and enjoy this a lot. You have probably seen me at several activities of Biologica, as I do a lot in the association. And now the lustrum as well, I hope to see you all there!

Ilja van Lierop

Hey everyone, My name is Ilja van Lierop and together with Diana I will acquisition sponsorship for upcoming Lustrum! I’m currently in the fourth year of my bachelor and I just started my masters. I chose major A and I’m interested in plants. You could possibly have seen me around already, since I am a member of a number of committees and I was once in the board of the association.

I’m 21 years old and I’m from Nuenen, which is located near Eindhoven, so I am always in for some ‘Brabantse gezelligheid’. I live in a studio located on the Marijkeweg, which I’m very grateful for, together with my plants. I always enjoy meeting with friends and having a great time at parties. Furthermore, I have a lot of hobbies, including drawing, painting with acrylics or watercolours, sewing stuffed animals or just general arts and crafts. I also enjoy travelling and hope to see even more of the world.

I hope that we will organise a fun Lustrum full with activities, I’m looking forward to it! Regards, Ilja

Diana Hofman

Hi, my name is Diana Hofman and I am a master biology student in Wageningen. I gather funds for the lustrum activities in November 2022. In addition to the lustrum committee I help in multiple other Biologica committees, assist with biology courses and go to the biologica activities. Outhside of Biologica I enjoy reading, (jazz/salsa) dancing and gaming. Can't wait until the lustrum starts!

Iris Boonstra

Hello everyone, My name is Iris and I am, as you know, part of the lustrum committee. I am in my 4th year of biology but soon 1st year master. in my spare time I like to read books and during covid I became obsessed with knitting and crocheting. I am also often found with my lovely chickens in my food garden. I like to party so the lustrum will be a blast. Greetings, Iris

Danjella Lamers

Heeey, My name is Danjella. I am 22 years old and in my 4th year of biology, with a passion for human and animal development. I am really looking forward to organise the lustrum, because I just love to party. I love animals and plants and in my spare time I like to go outside as much as possible. I am a member of a student association were you can often find me hanging out with my friends. Since covid, I got really into knitting and crocheting. That’s all, oh wait I also like beer. Veerle van Beeck

Hello everyone, my name is Veerle van Beeck and I’m 22 years old and a 3rd year biology student. Together with Danjella I work on the promo of the lustrum. So hopefully soon you will see my amazing posters and posts passing by.

In my free time I like to travel and take pictures. Ofcourse I also like being outside in nature like a true biologist.
